Who else feels stuck in place? Does your life feel like it’s hit a solid wall of rock hard resistance? Do you feel like no matter what you do, trying to regain the excitement and enthusiasm of past years is an exercise in futility? The truth is, for many millions of people, finding PASSION and purpose in life is a continuous struggle and one that many of us silently battle beneath our happy and cheerful “face” we put forth in public.
The good news? Regardless of what you are feeling right now, you CAN reclaim your birthright of being happy, hopeful and joyful….and you CAN make it happen in a hurry to boot! Care to learn how? Continue reading as we take a closer look at 2 simple techniques I love, use and recommend immediately below!
Filed Under: Prioritizing ONE Person (And that person is YOU!)
It’s interesting, because giving, sharing and sacrificing ourselves for others is a pretty important part of most our lives, especially those of us who are “MOM’S”, right? For the women reading this, we are conditioned to believe that “giving” is a gateway to “getting”. And while there is NOTHING better than sharing and caring with and for those you love, the unintended byproduct of this approach is that MOST Mom’s (and many Dads, too!) are burned out, and deprived of the “ME” time we all need to succeed and feel fulfilled and happy.
The answer? Re-prioritizing time for YOU. Re-focusing on your own “selfish” goals, wants and needs. Taking time each and every day to focus on who you are, where you are, and where you ultimately want to be. I believe that each and every one of us should meditate for at least 20 minutes a day on who were are, what truly makes us come live, and how to make it happen to boot!
As a spiritual adventurer, writer and seeker myself, I can honestly say that taking 20 minutes a day to contemplate my own “purpose” and focus on my own personal goals has changed my life in profound and powerful ways, and when combined with the unusual approach below, can have a dramatic impact on every area of YOUR life as well!
Filed Under: Seek out a Spiritual Life Advisor
For me, speaking to a spiritual life advisor, or an intuitive counselor, has been the very BEST way to re-discover my own life plan. Want to know why? Being reminded that we each have a UNIQUE destiny, a karma of connection to the universe and those around us, as well as a very specific mission in life to accomplish, has been the greatest reminder AND gift that there is. And while for many this may feel “overboard” and overly often, I speak to my psychic mentor once a week, and she provides me with the ongoing guidance that I’m making the right choices, and moving forward as well.
In the end, making progress is a personal choice that each of us has to make for ourselves. But being reminded that we are part of a grand plan, and here to grow, learn and mature spiritually, is a great way to get “unstuck”, and to get excited about the learning new things, developing new relationships and falling BACK in love with ourselves, and our lives!
