Director Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) recently said that he would not be able to direct the “Superman” reboot, because he has no idea how to make the movie happen. But despite that, Warner Bros and Christopher Nolan have now selected Snyder as the man to bring Superman back to the big screen.
“In the initial meetings, [Nolan has] been super amazingly smart and also amazingly kind, filmmaker-to-filmmaker,” said Snyder. “I have great respect for him. The process has been amazing so far, and it looks like nothing but pluses.”
The director said that to get the job all he did was “express my love for the character and interest in seeing him treated right. The character deserves to be loved. It’s his time. We’re moving quick.”
In addition, THR is reporting that David Goyer (The Dark Knight) is writing the script which contains General Zod as the main villain.
