To his detractors, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is another Osama Bin Laden.

To his supporters, he is a rebel hero of the Internet Age.

British authorities threw Assange in jail yesterday and denied him bail. They locked him up for “questioning” – not for terrorism or treason.

This was after Swedish prosecutors issued an Interpol warrant for his arrest. The Swedes want to ask Assange about claims from two women that he raped or sexually assaulted them by refusing to wear a condom during consensual sex.
